Dragging Movements
Summary
Section titled “Summary”A dragging movement involves picking up an object with a pointer, such as a mouse, and moving it to another place on the screen. Examples include linear sliders and maps you can drag to change the view.
It’s important that dragging is not the only way to perform a task on a webpage. This criterion is crucial for people with limited fine motor control. Always provide an alternative method that someone could do with a pointer. For example, someone could change a map view using directional buttons instead of dragging the map.
